Pure Vida Cleanse | February 18th, 2012

Written on February 8, 2012 by bodyFi

Sign Up HERE

Saturday, 2/18: Kickoff session: 8:30 to 10:00ish AM in the Mission and shopping trip to Alemany Farmer’s Market and Rainbow: immediately following with my hope of being wrapped up by 1pm (it varies based on group size, etc)

Sunday, 2/19: Cleanse actually starts. Friday, 3/2: Last day of cleanse.

Thursday, 2/23: Check-in teleconference (optional) 6:30 – 7:30 pm

The rest of the support is all online via e-mail.

You will also want to plan a few hours here and there for food prep and hopefully you can carve out a few moments each day (or a few times a week) for self care.

While I think they are valuable, if you cannot make the kick-off or calls you can still successfully do the cleanse (the majority of my clients fall into this). Or if it feels better to join a later cleanse there is one starting in March and I do them almost monthly.

If you want the benefits of an ass-kicking boot camp but don’t have the time for those hour-long workouts, bodyFi is your answer. The gym, conveniently located in the FiDi and the Mission, is toasting 2012 with a group of four- or six-week boot camps set up around quick, 30-minute sessions on either the pilates reformer or TRX suspension trainers. (We can attest to the awesomeness of the latter, revolving around a pair of nylon straps hanging from the ceiling that use your own body weight to create resistance). Choose from before-work early bird programs or after-work options and trust that owner John Nguyen and instructor Cassie Hecker will be there to show you the ropes — both literally and figuratively — with any new-to-you equipment.

Price: $100-$336, depending on the four-week or six-week program you choose.
When: Click here for the full schedule.
Where: 425 Washington Street, Suite 200 (between Battery and Sansome streets) and 772 South Van Ness Avenue, Suite 1 (between 18th and 19th streets); 415-633-6173.
